Elite Elvis is an Elvis Presley tribute led by James Kruk with his band The Big Boss Men. The show is built on Kruk’s Elvis voice, look, humor, charisma, and dance moves, backed by live rock and roll from The Big Boss Men.
Kruk first played Elvis for comedian Steve Martin on the Broadway tour of Picasso at The Lapin Agile. He also performed the Elvis role alongside Academy Award winner Patricia Arquette in the live read of Quentin Tarantino’s True Romance, sponsored by LACMA and Film Independent and directed by Jason Reitman.
For film, Kruk recorded two songs as Elvis for the 2013 movie Pawn Shop Chronicles, starring Brendan Fraser, Elijah Wood, Norman Reedus, and Paul Walker. Director Wayne Kramer said Kruk saved the film with his vocals.
The act combines a recognizable Elvis presentation with a full band feel that plays big in the room. The Big Boss Men have also headlined many major casinos and summer concert series.
